Trump will appear at a live ‘town hall’ with undecided voters on ABC next month.

President Trump is set to appear at a live town hall with the ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos on Sept. 15, where he will field questions from undecided voters, the network said Thursday.

The president rarely agrees to such live events outside of Fox News, which has hosted four town halls with him this year.

But he has been willing in the past to speak with Mr. Stephanopoulos, who has interviewed him twice during his tenure.

The ABC News special will air two weeks before the first presidential debate on Sept. 29, and will be filmed in Philadelphia. Voters will appear in person and virtually.

ABC said it has also offered a town hall to Mr. Trump’s Democratic opponent, Joseph R. Biden Jr.
