Forecasters expect Teddy to bring heavy rain, strong winds and destructive waves to Nova Scotia by early Wednesday. The storm was less then 350 miles south of Halifax, Nova Scotia, as of the 11 a.m. update. However, Teddy’s convection is starting to disappear, leaving forecasters to expect Teddy’s strength to diminish before making landfall, and may do so as a Category 1 hurricane or weaker.
